I'm trying to find out an old music video that I loved in the 90's.
It was I think by a british new wave band or dj.
The video was in claymation and featured these alien looking guys that worked on an assembly line producing these "feel good" devices and this one worker kept stealing parts and he made a new "feel good" device, but in the end he realized it was his heart that he neeed the most or something like that.
I think it might be Radiohead, it sure sounds like it. If anybody could help me out it would be nice!
Actually, it sounds to me like Genesis's "Land of Confusion", which was puppets, really, and not claymation. I might be barking up the wrong tree, though.
Was it Peter Gabriel? Steam, maybe?
Kenna used that little animated movie as the video for his song "Hell Bent." The cd is called "New Sacred Cow."

'Sledgehammer' was the one the really took off.
There was also a 'retro' filmclip of 'Rete Petite' by Jackie Wilson about the same time.
the video for rete petite was so good. i'm gonna have that song in my head all day now too cheers
