Going back to the first pic, I now see an extra eye...and a paw where there shouldn't be one! Laughing Good shot! We should start a thread where you guess the content of the picture.... Very Happy

I love cats!!!
My cat will NOT.. i mean NOT sit still if the camera is in eye shot. She hates that thing.
I got one picture of her on my desk and that was by accident.
She is a very tiny cat and I would love to put her pictures up but (sigh)
alas- she is too snobby. Laughing

Does your camera have a flash on it? Maybe your kitty is reacting to that? Can you turn it off if you do have an auto-flash?

That's one thing with photographing cats. You must have loads of patience, and you've got to try and get the lighting right. Otherwise, their eyes have a way of making them look like something "devilish". Laughing

I like the devilish 'flash' kitties get in thier eyes.
But, no, I dont use it on her because I had thought it would hurt her eyes.
I think she sees me chasing my daughter with it enough that she knows I would do the same if she would let me.

Laughing Laughing I'm getting mental images of you chasing your daughter around the house with a camera! Hehehe! Now that would be worth filming.

Funny you should say that about the camera with your cat. It's the same with our 2 kitties when we want to:
  • Brush their teeth or give them cleansing gel
  • Adminster the monthly Program dose
  • Brush them
  • Or, <gasp> give them a bath! Shocked


They're smart cookies. Always looking at the hands. What's Mom or Dad got in their hands? Do I run or stay?

Heaven help when the carrier comes out for the annual trip to the vet. Our guys wonder whose turn it is to go!

Someone had to have had the camera "at the ready"! There's no way you could have gotten that shot otherwise.

I love that picture of the cat 'flying' !!! that is a GREAT shot that took a bit of timing. :-)


I give Kitten a bath once a month. She is a strange one. She actually enjoys being wrapped up in the towel afterwords. Not the bath part.. ooohh.. she HATES that, but as soon as she sees the towel,
she .... purrs.. Shocked
It is the cutest thing.
