Only a year and a half remain/remains for us to complete the construction of this building.
Which is the correct verb?
Thank you!
@tanguatlay,
Third person singular remains.
Remains is also a noun referring to the body at a funeral, or any portion of a chemistry experiment that is left over at the end.
@Jewels Vern,
Many thanks, Jewels Vern.
