Ring, ring. The telephone interrupts the stillness inside the apartment that collected so many memories, past and previous lives. There's been a lot of people here, the girls thinks for herself in the sofa. But she can't recall it or "place" it into categories. Are they my real parents or is it someone that got murdered. Maybe I'm special? At this time of day there's nothing interesting for me on the television, only talkshows and text message news, like when they reported the missing boy. One time the little girl thought she heard someone in the door and she felt sick and hallucinated or was she dreaming? She could almost remember everything so far of her life and school and homeschooling was a lot of fun. She knew what to do and not to listen to the old man and the sick woman in the bed. She couldn't tell where it occured or if to call the police. Sometimes a woman shouts. She shrugs her shoulders. Her best friend is a lot different, but they're special she reflects. Always call mom, always call dad. School is a lot of different from kindergarten. Kids are a lot different, especially in Europe. And some families are different and there's troubled people everywhere. She musn't disturb the man and the women, she must comfort her mom and dad. Turning of the television leaves a haunting silence in the apartment and the presence gets closer and closer, like a photograph of two children. Sometimes a whisper. She whispers, she musn't disturb. She's being asked to clean the kitchen table, so her mother doesn't have to. Her dad could be away on business, sometimes her grandmother would come visit and she one time drew a painting for her, that's on her freezer in the apartment. It's very old and they've lived there for decades. Their apartment's street been on the television when big protests in the 60's occured. Over the decades a lot has changed and thing might have turned for the better - or is it getting worse? Her mom and cooks everyday. Big and delicous meals. The End.
