Over the next couple of days to a new cave, so we'll be packing the computers later this afternoon.

I know it won't be the same without BVT to kick around, or the loving squinney to enjoy, but be brave, it's only a few days.

Certainly I'm confused. I do confused very well these days.

I hope that Squinney is moving to a new kitchen of exceeding elegance as benefits a woman who must deal with a Creative Man.

why are downsizing everything in general..moving closer back into town to a smaller but still roomy and comfortable home which although about 6 miles south of our current location is still in North Raleigh, not far from the airport.

We have the truck almost completely packed right now, and will start moving bright and early tomorrow, then make a sewcond trip and we should be finished by tomorrow night. We are very bear like and so this move is haphazard and disorganized, but when I start feeling frustrated I post and have a beer. Then my bearlike good nature kicks back in and I lunge into the fray. I hate moving though. I really liked this cave, but it's just more than we need, and I can think of better ways to spend my money. As it turns out \i decided to leave my computer on until the last possible minute so I could commune with friends here and wind down every couple of hours.

Only 6 miles? That's not very far. Sounds like a good plan, though.

Husker's right...get a couple of young roadies to lift the heavy stuff. They're used to it and they won't need back medicine the next day. You'll need to direct traffic anyway.

Hire movers. No other way to ever move again. Make someone else do it.

The stress of moving isn't the distance. The stress of movement is in the packing and loading and unloading and unpacking and trying to maintain a normal routine when the equipment for the routine is in boxes and your feet don't remember the way to the bathroom.

The Bear Menage has my full sympathy.

we have finally reached the climax of this cluster f**k. I'd have rather spent this week at Neverland ranch.
