I have been giving tuition since secondary school to earn some money to help my family financially.

I have been giving tuition since I was in secondary school to earn some money to help my family financially.

Which is the correct sentence?

Thanks.

@tanguatlay,
The sentences do not make sense.

Giving tuition money is not earning money.

The sentences would be clearer and better understood if they were written as follows:

I have been earning money since secondary school to put towards tuition to help my family financially.

Or

I have been earning money since I was in secondary school to put towards tuition to help my family financially.

Either "since secondary school" or "since I was in secondary school" is acceptable.
