@izzythepush,
That is ironic. Izzy is the one who seems to want to make every thread about Max.

The general pattern is.

1) I express an opinion.
2) Izzy calls me a miaogynist or bigot or liar.
3) I repond to this insult.
4) Izzy piles on often with support from his ideological friends.
5) Another thread gets derailed.

That is the pattern I am trying to change.

@maxdancona,
No it's not.
1) Someone starts a thread.
2) Max attacks the thread originator because they're a woman or left wing.
3) People respond accordingly
4) Max calls foul while still trying to make the thread all about Max.
5) The thread is derailed because Max doesn't want people discussing women's or left wing issues or anything that doesn't involve Max.
6) Max lies about why the thread collapsed and starts another thread on how people keep picking on him.
7) Max pms me asking me to argue with him on his new thread.

@maxdancona,
Quote:
Each thread should be focused on the topic at hand.

Do you mean the topic of the O.P.?

Anyways, topics within threads deviate regularly. It's not a big deal. You can either attempt a redirect or open another thread. You see max, internet activity and conversation is similar to life in person or telephone conversation. Something is said and the response can move things off onto a separate road. There is then, a new 'topic at hand'.

@Sturgis,
I am arguing against personal attacks, name calling and these nasty personal feuds that go from thread to thread to thread.

Topics that go off on somewhat related tangents aren't the problem.
