Is it wise to still like him?

Is it wise to like someone who is fake to everyone but you, his family, and a few other friends of his? Is it also wise if he was a dickhead to the girls that liked him. For example, he told off one of my friends by saying he had standards when she confessed over text. He also dated another one of my friends for a dare, and a week later he straight up told her that he dated her just for a dare. He later found out that she really liked him and she was heartbroken when he said that. Is it wise to even like him?
