Leopard man discovered in the wilds of New Zealand!

Wellington (AP) - The scientific community is in shock today with the discovery of a new species of man which has simply been dubbed "Leopard Man". Joel Whitmore and Garth Newsome are the pair of explorers that brought this find to media attention today. Details have been very sketchy so far though. When asked for more information, Newsome only said that he and Whitmore had nothing further to add at this time until they've had time to confer with other colleagues about the new man.
