Hello everyone;

I am looking for a short story book that talks about an event or something major in the 20th century? Could be about world war 1 or 2 or anything public.

Any ideas? Links? Titles? Websites?

Thanks

Vonder, you need to give us a little more information. I can't imagine what a short story book would be. Do you, perhaps, mean a short, Story Book?

Hiroshima by John Hersey is excellent.

I really don't know of any books about the fall of communism, but the Hersey is not long and gives an excellent account of the horror of aftermath.

Orwell's Animal Farm is excellent as well. Hope this helps.

Vonder, try this link. It has a brief review and other related books on communism.
