The greatest rock frontman ever...end of story.
Met him once -- he was rollerskating at Venice Beach in, about, 1983... I was with a boyfriend that looked so much like him he got asked for autographs...
C'mon....greatest frontman???
I don't think it's possible to really pick "THE" greatest...but David Lee Roth? Excellent, yes. Best ever...I don't know, man.
One guy who gets a ton of votes in that department is Freddie Mercury. I'd have no idea, never paid any attention to Queen.
What about Plant?
David Lee Roth was the best Van Halen front man.
But let's face it, he didn't quite stand the test of time. In the early eighties, though, those flying kicks were badass.
Greatest front man candidates:
Plant, Lennon, Morrison, Iggy, Joey Ramone...so many.
For some reason I never could stand Steven Tyler. Nothing personal.
Bluevein: I must say, I do love the David Lee Roth quote you're using as a signature.
