VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - It's getting so expensive to buy a home in BC, that one forecast suggests the province remains the least affordable region in the country.
RBC economics house prices continue to soar because of the booming economy.
The portion of pre-tax income needed to service the costs of owning a home range from 29 and a half per cent for a condo to 61.3 per cent for a standard two story house.
Sell your house and move to Minot, North Dakota. A 1.5 million dollar home in California would only cost $130,000 in North Dakota. :-)
I lived in Manitoba for a couple of years... you may want to rethink North Dakota
You can go from the Danforth to a house on the Queen's Road (Route 2) outside the city limits and cut the price in half . . .
Do you mean Kingston Road going east from Toronto?
Yeah, Queen Street, Kingston Road, it's all the same to me . . . too high gasoline prices and tawdry stores . . . cheap housing, though . . .
