I'm very new here. I'm having some trouble figuring out how to ensure that my posts appear in the right category (such as the Science Category, the Religion category, etc).
Can anyone tell me how to make sure that my posts appear in the right categories?

You only have a couple of minutes (a short window of time to delete it) after making a topic before you can no longer delete a thread.

You can't, there's a limited window for deleting topics/posts etc. It's normally about 15 mins after posting. Once that time has passed it's here for good.
Don't worry about it, next week this will be buried beneath hundreds of new threads.
