I'm sorry but if I'm right in thinking that Girl is the latest one by Destiny's Child then no just NO it is an AWFUL song!!

Because the whole point seems to be that despite her friends wanting to stand by her she's sticking with him anyway!!

my my my people, so many posts yet no one mentions the princesses of girl power the spice girls. i don't blame anyone for forgetting them but they are pretty major in the 90s girl power movement, even if that movement only affected 5-10 year olds who for a few years thought as long as they wore big platform shoes and small union jack dresses they could conquer the world...... Anywaaaaaay, sure they were all girl power but which of there songs were actually about the issue at hand?
