Oooo umm saint-saens... hell what's it called? Three movements (first is only 8 bars or so), has a nice solo viola part (hmmm i wonder why i like it... )

If you want stuff that's easy to get your hands on then the orchestral scores of LotR and Gladiator are both lovely

I believe that DNEB has specified pieces with a vocal element . . . and with regard to that, Beethoven's Ninth does not, strictly speaking, have any vocal element--however, it is almost invariably performed with Beethoven's musical setting of Shiller's Ode to Joy, and it is likely very difficult if not impossible to find the latter without getting a recording of the former.
