There is a charge on my joint credit card with my boyfriend for a really weird looking web hosting service (just called "hosting trends").
Based on the fee structure posted, it looks like a monthly subscription payment. I asked him about it and he was really evasive.
Things aren't going great for us since we had our son eight months ago and there have been some signs that he was cheating but I just couldn't believe it. Plus, why would he need a website for that? Any advice? Am I just being paranoid?

@uncertain123,
It could be a pornography site. I don't think it is a sign that he is cheating (unless it is a dating site).

Are you in couples therapy? Seeing as you have a child together this sounds like a good idea. You don't fix a relationship by fighting over credit card bills.

@maxdancona,
No, it's a web hosting service, for him to make and publish his own website, which is why it is so weird that he wouldn't tell me anything about it.
I'm positive it isn't about pornography because he has actual porn subscriptions that show up on our credit card bill and which he just says are for porn (within our relationship, watching and paying for porn is okay).

@uncertain123,
I don't get what the problem is then.

I was serious that you should consider couples therapy. I think you would agree that there is an issue of trust in your relationship that goes far beyond a web hosting service.

Really? He has not been forthcoming in having made the charge and is being elusive.

Or do you not mind paying for unknown charges made on your card? Or maybe you just hand out your debit cards and credit card to random strangers and family and friends.

Other than that, agreed that couples therapy might be useful. Not only the mystery charge, but the life readjustment with a new baby in the mix.

@Sturgis,
If that is the problem, the obvious solution then is to not have a joint credit card. I don't think that is the issue.
