COQUITLAM(CKNW/AM980) - You may want to contact this moving company for your next move, because they did this one so quietly, they didn't wake anybody -- even the woman inside the house.
Coquitlam Mounties received a call Thursday afternoon about a woman "acting strangely" in a business in Port Coquitlam, claiming she had no idea where she was.
Eventually, it became clear what had happened: During Thursday's heavy rainstorm, the woman stepped into a display house to get out of the rain -- in Vancouver.
She nodded off to sleep.
That's when the movers arrived to move the entire house to its new location on Broadway -- in Port Coquitlam.
All of this, without waking her.
One can understand why she'd be acting strangely.
The rookie cop who handled the call drove the woman to a bus loop so she could make her way home.
She must sleep very, very soundly!
