6 pages on this thread, and not one post by one of the 'righties'...

oh, I didn't notice that was on my to-do list for today:

condemn US Soldiers that disobey orders and beat prisoners to death.

along with clean underwear.

How very unkind you are, BLT, and how you lack compassion . . . it is not our place to condemn Captain Clueless because he believes "changing underwear" entails removing the garment, turning it inside-out, and putting it back on . . .

Is that how your mom taught you Setanta? Most of us simply get a nice clean pair to wear, but none of this has anything to do with this thread, does it? You'd rather try, and I do mean try, to be witty and cute by attempting your usual caustic routine then to keep on topic.

It's getting old.

We've had six pages of discussion before you decided to show up with your stink bomb.

And your phoney righteous indignation stinks as badly . . .

There is no way one can defend the actions here.

I continue to express my displeasure with the fact that we should be long out of Afgan and Iraq. Our mission WAS accomplished months ago and it is far past the time we leave.

Since many who detest America are located in countries closer to Afgan and Iraq, I hope that when we do leave, that those Nations will do a better job in keeping the peace within Afgan and Iraq.

It is in Europes best interest, due to location, to send their peace-keeppers in the area.

Many of the people bitching on this thread come from a region much closer to the problem. Yet, those govt's closer to the problem have really done NOTHING in the past 20 years to resolve some of the issues related to that region.

That is not to defend the actions of the US AFTER the accomplishment of our missions in Afgan and Iraq. I just find it curious.

Woiyo: I can't imagine why you've quoted McG's last post, and then made your comment about people living closer to the region.

The reason i spent three years in the United States Army, was that i was born in this country. You really should take off the partisan colored glasses now and again . . . if you had, you might have noticed that i agreed with your assessment stated above.

I didn't used to be this way..but even a delicate and sensitive liberal flower like myself will harden a bit after being subjected to the slings and arrows of the mighty mighty right wing constantly.

I said MANY people bitching, not ALL people bitching.

You will notice that I have continued to criticize the Admin for their handeling of the post Saddam Iraq situation.

So don't try to portray me as some partisen SAP that many appear to be on this thread. As a fellow VET, I thank you for your service, but your act is quite transparent and to quote McG, very old.

Hmmm - commenting on atrocities committed against prisoners is "bitchin'."

Hmmmm - so - I wonder what commenting on atrocities against prisoners of the radical Islamists is?

A holy sacrament?

Why did you feel it necessary, then, to quote McG's latest cheap shot at me when you made your remarks?

That horseshit gets old pretty quickly, too.

Sauce for the goose, Bubba . . . you showed and expressed your opinion, i agreed with it. The next thing you write is an attack. What did you expect, that i would roll over and whine for mercy? You must be beginning to believe your own partisan propaganda about liberals.
