Why is he not upset and ignoring me

Okay so me and this guy have known each other for a few years and recently we started talking again (a few months ago) and he started telling me he loves me and that he wanted a future with me, he kept trying to go for a drink with me and although I had feelings for him, I didn’t feel ready for a relationship.he told me I should move on because I couldn’t let him go, I would of liked to stay in contact. Now he’s ignoring my texts altogether and he doesn’t even seem to miss me or care. He even told me he’s sick of me and he was saying weird things like that he’s “heartless.” I only text him asking him if he’s found someone else and he said he hasn’t but I don’t believe him, I’m just so upset.

Do you think he’s found someone else? He tells me he hasn’t.

I do that’s why it hurts but I’m not ready. I wish he would tell me if he likes someone else or not. Seems like he’s lost interest anyway. Just hurts more that I considered him as a friend

Sorry, this is just how human beings work.

It is very difficult to have a friendship with someone you are romantically attracted to. Sometimes people make it work, usually in this situation human beings go their separate ways. Most of us over 30 (and I am well over thirty) have been on both sides of this.

If you aren't ready, I think you need to accept that he is moving on.

But I don’t think he has feelings for me anymore, but oh well. I guess it’s the fact he’s basically been romantically involved with me, he treats me as if I’m a stranger now. But it doesn’t matter anymore because I’ve blocked him, maybe in the future we can become friends again. The last time we spoke he would just say stuff like “I’m heartless” maybe he’s acting heartless to avoid pain or something, I don’t know
