So how are yall?
( hehhe.. spoken like a true texan.... YALL )
Well, I'm NOT in Tejas so I must be doing fine
fine as frog hair and smooth as a baby's ass. here. And you?
I usually wax the frog hair off my arse.. so i guess im doing well too. :-)
dys-
you are not allowed in texas.
There is no such thing as cowboys in this state.
Have you moved out yet, Wolfy?
Not yet. Found 2 great possibilities though.
One is HUD one isnt.. so we shall see.
In order to survive the waiting period, I have found some liquid Prozac that I drop into mother in laws coffee everymorning..
I use the liquid Valuim for myself. ;-)
Pardon my Englishness, but what is HUD?
I thought that was a Paul Newman film.
I dunno either.....
Heya shewolf, good to see you!

Hey shewolf <waving from Houston>
hey shewolf - war in texas you at?
I'm in Austin, and will not have air conditioning at home for about 2 weeks.
For my compadres in the UK, that means I'll be wishing I could die and go to Hades so I could cool off.
That hot eh?
Keep cool shewolf.
Our 'air conditioning' is just a desk fan...it's called 'Carlton Breezy'. My daughter says it sounds like the name of a Jamaican bloke!
you get used to it (the heat) if at least you can cool off at the end of the day.
right now it's only going to get up to 90 today, the problem is the slow cool down at night.
now AUGUST! forget about it. no one gets used to that. I have walked outside and felt like I was going to spontaneously combust.
Then, you'll watch a jogger go by.....
or see someone smoking a cigarette.....gag - makes my head ache just thinking about it.
Chai,
Im in austin as well.. south close to Slaughter lane.
feel So sorry for you and the no a/c. I can hardly handle this heat as it is, I cant imagine not having ac!!
For those who dont know HOT.. imagine being in a sauna with OUT the option of leaving.
We get heat here of about 90-110 degrees during the summer with 70% + up humidity. You sweat like crazy, but it is so hot and wet it just sticks to your body. You cant seem to get enough water in your system to combat the heat... it is really nasty at times.
Hot, sweaty, sticky.... you know you love it.

I thought you got rid of your Frog-in-the-ass problem?

The whole, what's the point of showering if I have to leave the house bit....you shower, get feeling all nice and clean and then step outside and BAM! you literally need a shower again.
who showers in texas?
there is enough humidity in the air, you just get naked, stand still and you ' drip ' clean!
Ta-DAAA!!!
Hey Shewolf! Glad to hear from ya, I was kinda wondering where you were.
Bet you'll be SO HAPPY when you get your new place! Hopefully it won't be too long now?
In the meantime, here's a big scratch around the ears to help you get through this last bit....
<scratch scratch scratch>
Hi sweetie. Why don't the three of you move to New Mexico? Come on, it's much nicer, the humidity isn't hellish and the people are much more tolerant, at least most of them, with some well-known exceptions.
Get Bean and the hubby packed up and you all can stay with us until you find a place. How about it???
