Glad you did it, roger! I'll try to get in touch with C.D., but I asume that it has to do something with her health problems, since I didn't get any email from her recently.

Roger, yeah, lots of us have big long lists of people we would like to invite -- I really think it's a good idea to be organized about it. How about if we all hold off on doing any invites until Jes weighs in with what she would like us to do? One person inviting a lot of people doesn't make for a deluge, but if all of us see that person doing it, and say hey, I wanna invite my people too, that adds up but quick.

Folks I'd really like to see
But hell, here's Lola on my knee
And, praise the lord! we're Zinger-free

sozobe...you call me Dork again and I'll tie that ridiculous bandana to Herb's saddle and drag you across the Canadian tundra.

Dearest Dorquette

You oughta see me in tights. Temporary change in order to suggest a cultural connection (of almost no importance at all) in the 'musicals' thread.

You're right, sozobe! After all, Jes was taking care about all of us to stay in touch either trough abuzz or via emails....so let her organize, and we can suggest or add some of our friends later.

Couldnt agree more with the sentiments of and about Abuzz, it truely was a fabulous thing to be a part of and, I shall continue to buzz while and when I can just because it holds such a special place for me.
I have met some of my closest friends there, and that in itself is priceless beyond compare.
The goodness and light surely outshines the gloom and doom around and about it nowadays.

Like so many of you, some of my dearest friends are people I have met on abuzz.

Many of us are now ready to meet anywhere in the country and when we do, it is a joy! From Maine, Boston, Tucson, to the Catskills, abuzz friends have made each other's lives much richer.

I'll keep abuzzing until it finally gives up the ghost.

Oh, and getting to see Blatham in tights--that'll keep me coming back!

I know, this is an old thread, but I read most of it and have to agree that Abuzz does get a nice head nod of greatness. I signed up on Abuzz in 2001 when people didn't have to stick their email in and password, just their name and password.

I found this haven of wonder when abuzz went down for a weekend last year in novemeber.

I had my first forum experiences on Abuzz. Not comfortable with chat rooms, I had been seeking such a site. Once I overcame my initial shyness, I began to make friends and feel quite comfortable. Himself was my first acknowledged friend, though we got off to a bad start. Then jlnobody and I got on a thread with a very young French girl and tried our hand at guiding her away from certain morbid thinking. The reason I only rarely go there now, my dial up just can't navigate on Abuzz.

I see much time has passed since a reply here. I am not looking back at previous answers, but I, as many of you, I am sure, still drop in at Abuzz once in a while. It is worse than ever with true Anarchy the rule. Hijackings, aliases, vitriolic hatred, etc. permeate.

I have been away from here for quite a while but stopped back and am glad I did.

Hi, all.

bermbits- HI! Good to see you!!! Very Happy

I started posting on Abuzz again a couple of months ago. I got so sick of scrolling thru the sewer, that I have just about given up on it. I find it a big waste of time to find the one good thread in the sea of garbage.

Now, every once in awhile, I will take a peek, but usually give up!

HEY BERMBITS-
Gee I wondered if you ever came online anymore!!
I don't read abuzz too often, and usually, an old thread where I responded and smile over the memories.

Once, I couldn't wait to finish dinner dishes, so I could have a few unbroken HOURS on Abuzz- now, I am not sure I would know anyone.
I changed my moniker there long ago, to NEWSHOOT...
but quit all of it after a short time. YOU would remember me, Bermbits as 'louritter' but I just don't use my real name much anymore.
Just theollady, as I am. Very Happy Very Happy

Hi to you, too Phoenix.
