According to Mz Widdicome scientists may have a cure for gayness mmmm ok. Now would anyone want to be cured? If so why? Personally it took me long enough to discover I was and then to come out so its "A no from me".
Why is sex so important - regardless who you're doing it with?
survival in a fucked-up reality is primary, surely?
Starving, poverty-ridden, homeless folk give a toss not for where there genitalia attend.
Uttereth I.

It shouldn't matter, but sadly to the phobes it does. People just cant deal with it but I'm also interested in whether there are a % who would no longer want to be part of the LGBTQ+ community whether it's due to religious reasons, pressure to conform or the absolute struggle that some face within themselves and cant accept their own sexuality.
It should not matter as we simply cannot help who we love, to me I love my gf so much and even if I was straight, shes both beautiful internally and externally so I would fall in love with her regardless.

@Sarlav,
It's impossible to "cure" something which isn't a disease.

O.o
Lot's of things are cured without being diseases... Ham for example. Depression is another example. Drug addiction can be cured. Cancer can be cured. Diabetes can be cured.
So, quite possible.

Diabetes cannot be cured, it can be controlled and treated just as it is with cancer etc. The theory behind her comment on curing homosexuality is based on how they would treat gay men (predominantly). As though we are possessed by the devil as though it's a chemical imbalance.
Just who wants to be treated for falling in love with another ? Do you?
