Every year I go to a literary festival nearby. It's fun and interesting and you meet other enthusiasts. I wonder how many of you A2K readers go to such events, or would go if they were around your neighbourhood. And do you get something out of them?

the closest thing i've done is go to book signings, but if a literary festival featured many writers i liked, then i wouldn't mind attending.

Book Week at the biennial Adelaide Festival of Arts is a much loved part of the calendar for many Australian readers.

It takes place outdoors, in our lovely parklands, in tents.

Nice. Very parky, Adelaide. I saw a G&S opera there, it seemed very appropriate.
