Well, almost today. Tomorrow, the 16th of May is Gus's long expected birthday. Let the party begin!
I am bringing a spam pasta salad, some LP records of Bavarian polka music for good fun. I expect me and Montana will mudwrestle again. All other party suggestions are welcome.
P.S.: Don't you anyone tell Gus. This will be a surprise party!

My long-time assertion that "nothing" is a gift was reaffirmed recently by a game of Scattergories. So I'll be bringing that to Gus's party. Not Scattergories, no. Nothing.
I'm getting him a treadmill and an exercise bike.

Knowing that Gus's birthday was coming up, I called my florist and had them send over a nice assortment of flowers. I told them to leave them on the porch if Gus wasn't home.
Oh good! I see they've arrived!

My real gift should arrive in the morning.
I don't like surprise parties. It's only fair to tell him so he can dress up. In fact, we can help him dress up....
