Fuel remaining in tank of an Oldsmobile Silhouette when low fuel warning eliminates?

Get your tank capacity from the owner's manual. Fill the tank and drive till the warning light comes. Fill it up immediately. Subtract fuel bought from tank capacity and the difference will be the amount left when the light comes on.

I wouldn't count on that light being perfectly consistent, but this is the only reasonable way to find out.
