Missing Grimm Tale?

I have a little problem- I have been refered to a certain Grimm fairy tale by two different people (now unavailable to me), however after scanning through the complete collection of tales several times, and scowering the net I cannot seem to find it anywhere! I am hoping someone here might have read it before or know its name, or know if it is part of some other collection.

The tale goes roughly like this- A young girl lives at home with parents. Each night she does not finish her dinner, but gives a portion to a wolf who visits her on a regular basis. Eventually the wolf wants more and more, and in the end the wolf ends up eating the little girl all together.

Have I been chasing a story that does not exist?
The two who mentioned it were NOT talking about "little red cap"
