Oh god yes... One of the greatest bands ever.

They are still touring from time to time.

I just got a triple CD by them: The Complete Singles Anthology".

I remember a mate of mine paid seven pounds fifty sterling for the "Spiral Scratch" EP just before it was rereleased back in 1980

I'm fonder of Magazine - and when Howard Devoto went solo I like his single 'Rainy Season' but I never bought any of his albums - does anyone know them or have any comments on them.

I also remember Pete Shelley's 'Homosapien' apparently he owed much of his 'artistic direction' to LSD. Can anyone do a 'Where Are They Now?'

They played here (North Carolina) a couple ofyears ago... other than that , I'm not sure.
They are still fantastic live.

I agree that Magazine were the better band. The Correct use of Soap was brilliant and Shot by both sides was the single responsible for converting me to the feeling and ideals of punk, rather belatedly, in 1978, but the Spiral Scratch EP featuring Devoto was the Buzzcocks defining moment for me. It still sounds brilliant and was the reason I bought the triple CD!.
