Would you accept a 'DEATH' pill (Painless), were you offered one?
I would.

@Region Philbis,
Depends on One's 'outlook'.

Yes, or No?

@mark noble,
Hell no.
Man can't even understand life. How could one choose death? Can you explain dreams? What if Heaven is like a Heavenly dream? (For ever)
What if hell is like a nightmare? (For ever)

@mark noble,
A painful DEATH pill would be more suited to my purposes. What good is a painless death?

@mark noble,
Just to clarify: In the event that life became unbearable, in some fashion - Would it be reasonable that society (Whichever) afforded it's inhabitants such an option?

If my mind or body were in constant pain - (They aren't, btw) I would be grateful for said 'assist'.

@maxdancona,
Many people seem to have had painless endings, if you'd rather be in excruciating agony then by all means have at it.

If dealing with a severe level of physical pain, I'd like the option for an end to exist, on my terms.

( a few years ago. I was dealing with that level of pain, even several pain meds ---combined didn't zap it completely)

What makes you think I would ever use either type of pill on myself?

@Sturgis,
I agree.
It should be mandatory.

Not at the moment ... give me a few years and a terminal illness that's painful and then probably yeah.

@mark noble,
No - and this kinda weird cos Im an agnostic, but in the case that god does exist, I dont believe I have the right to take life, even if its my own. An agnostic abiding the rules of god - just in case Smile

The only possible exception to this is if I were terminally ill and in a lot of pain, but from what I understand most people in that situation value what little life they have left, very much...so I doubt Id do it then either.

@Rudpolph,
Always do 'EXACTLY' what you deem appropriate! You'll Never go wrong.

'Just in case'?

That's 'awesome'! "Just in case'"

Amen.
