Hey all, when I click the mail icon in the firefox browser it opens my hotmail account in internet explorer. My default browser is set to firefox and my email to hotmail any ideas on how to fix this problem of jumping to different browsers I want to use firefox. thank you in advance for any thoughts and/or ideas.
Having hotmail as your default mail reader = having ie redirect to hotmail.
Hotmail is a website, not a mail reader and for the convenience of pugging into os architecture like that Microsoft made the ability to use IE/Hotmail as a mail reader shortcut.
I don't think you can easily change that.
I assume you can open Hotmail directly from the Firefox browser?
Can you just set it up as a favorite or a shortcut?
it's cool I fig'd it out firefox is coo i just wish it came fully loaded man i hope i dont have to reboot my system anytime soon!!!!
thunderbird is a decent firefox companion
