In the Bay of Fundy today’s tide range can be 6 meters and tomorrow 18 meters.
What is the reason for such a sharp jump?

@Yusup,
Changes are caused by a combination of different forces and cycles, mostly the moon and sun.

@Yusup,
It’s solely dependent on how many at the Bay ofFundy decide to bathe with filling and draining their bath tubs thus putting the load onto the drainage to the bay.

You can go to images.google.com and search "tide calculator". You will get pictures of machines having a dozen or so wheels, one for each timed factor that affects tides.
