I would like to know whether we can use "Secondly" when the first paragraph does not start with "First" or "Firstly", as in the following:
Yesterday, I woke up late. I had no time to brush my teeth. I had to go to school in a taxi. Despite that, I reached school late.
Secondly, I was punished by my form teacher. She punished me by making me stay back late after school.
