Owing to a variety of reasons

A simple tip is that with the passage of time two words are combined into one owing to a variety of reasons. However, the reverse is not the case. So, "feed back" cannot be later than "feedback".

Is "owing to a variety of reasons" correct or should it be "for a variety of reasons"?
