Would you have been foolish enough to sign such a non-disclosure agreement? I really think some people have "STUPID" stamped on their forehead! Rolling Eyes

Krispy Kreme fraud
May, 02 2005 - 10:00 AM

VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - Surrey RCMP have now issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection with a scheme to bilk investors out of almost one million dollars in a Krispy Kreme franchise scam.
Arthur Anthony Bovio is wanted on ten counts for falsely claiming to have the exclusive rights to several franchises in greater Vancouver and Mexico.

After selling them a 25 per cent share in the franchises, Bovio made the investors sign non-disclosure agreements preventing them from making contact with Krispy Kreme's parent company.

RCMP won't have any trouble locating Bovio.

He's serving 60 months in an Illinois prison on fraud related charges.
