Weird email

I just got this really random email from some guy giving me his philosophical views....Its really creeping me out that this guy sent it to me addressing me by my first name

Hey adam,

I'm up at 3:42 AM writing this letter to you in a
very highly over-priced hotel room in Washington
D.C.

I can't mention the hotel name for legal reasons,
but lets just say it's "very close" to the white
house Smile

I just got an email from my wife in which she
wrote me the most beautiful words, telling me how
much she loved me - it braught tears out of my
eyes

It inspired me to write this to you

I'm here at a business seminar, learning how to
grow my business.

You know what's frightening?

I'm surrounded by millionaires, and
multi-millionaires. Or people who make an obscene
amount of money.

I've talked to a few of them, and...

They just don't get it.

They're all talking about the latest "trick" to
make more money from their customers. Their
financial goals, joint ventures, etc...

They've got great ideas, but most of them take
advantage of people, and don't really deliver the
value.

They spend most of their time selling, instead of
giving.

What's the point to making money if you're going
to run over people to do it?

I talk to people like this and they tell me
"Kacper, you're leaving all this money on the
table, why don't you just do this, or that, you'll
make tripple of what you're doing now."

I simply politely say "Thanks for the advice Smile"

They just don't get it. There's a profound
difference between having a lot of money... and
being wealthy.

In my heart I know there is a better way to live,
to be truly wealthy inside, help people create
better lives, and be financially rich as well.

But most these people never realize that, they
just keep chasing the next big financialthing that
will solve all their problems

They made me think of who I really am, and what my
real mission in life is.

I really want to be here to truly help you make a
profound shift in your life - I'm not here to just
make money.

Money is important and it's nice, but it's the
personal touch of humanity that I think we all
miss so much, that we're hungry for.

I'm not here for the dollars, im here to touch
your life.

adam, I'm coming home May 1st, and I
can't wait to share more of my gifts with you in
the future.

- Kacper

Spam gets through, though. I have a Yahoo address too, most go to the bulk folder, but get a few of those a week in my inbox-- not that one specifically, but the same idea. Often using my first name.

I have Yahoo too, and often, perhaps most of the time, get at least one spam email a day in my Inbox; perhaps once a week, I get serious email in my Bulk (spam) folder. So I always glance over both with my well-trained-the-hard-way eagle eye.

Or maybe they really are out to get you. ;-)

Really, it's all very standard spam-ese. They send this stuff out into the ether in bulk and hope they'll strike a chord with someone -- and they did, if it's more towards "ew!" than "gotta buy it!!"

It's just a dishonest way of self-comfort, Gus.
