It reads fine to me. There are several other ways you could say the same thing.

"Our conversion goal is ten for this year...:
"We received a conversion goal of ten from our Head Temple for this year ..."
"The Head Temple set a goal of ten conversions for this year ..."

Well, you don't usually talk about "receiving" a goal, although people do say "set a goal for us". I personally would not want to participate in any church where they talk about goals for conversions. Peddlers set goals. The bible says we are ambassadors, not peddlers. We are asked to preach the gospel, not to persuade anybody to believe it.
