OK, during our little break I trolled around abuzz a bit. Even started an interaction. But heavens, what a sad state it's in. Once A2K came back up, it was like having a limb reattached. I can safely say that abuzz is out of my system now.
Funny, I didn't even think to check in at abuzz. A good thing I guess!
Oh - I am having lots of fun in a digression over there- and a lovely thread about nothing started by Debacle!
Yup, I tried the old fuzz and like Wilso started an interaction, took me about 1o minutes it was so slooow. The one good thing I went through some old threads and remembered the good ole days. However, I am happy to be here to be part of creating some good new days on the puter.
I'm hearing you big time Wilso. I couldn't wait to come back home and stretch out my butterfly wings. I wasn't expecting A2K to be back up until Monday, so this is one refreshing surprise.
Your avatar becomes you, Gezzy. Somehow, the kitten just didn't work.
funny, I didn't miss either one...
(check new postings for the details of my trip abroad... you don't know slow untill you have to deal with a dial-up, and a keyboard not in english...)
Jezzy, Geezy do you think we at A2k are ready for a crush thread?
I had some enjoyable times on Abuzz and it is still on my menu of "favorites." But I don't go there very often. For a while, after the nice people left, there were a few folks left spouting venom.
Now, though, there seem to be only periodic postings with no responses.
Sounds like a plan Joanne. On my way.

It's a done deal ;-)
Nasty political threads!!
Poor old Abuzz! How sad to see!
Well, I just found a lovely one from a Brazilian English teacher - who wants to approach her teaching of her adolescent students about the coming war via English literature.
