How do I keep a script safe?

I'm new to the film industry and got a new role to play and I'm a very clumsy person. I tend to spill water and drinks quite often. I'm afraid I might spill on the script as well.

What's the best way to keep my script safe?
I'm thinking of converting the script to PDF then read it using Document Writer. It has a highlighting feature, I can easily highlight my lines.. I'm not sure. Please suggest me something. I'm so confused!

Thanks!

@IffatKhannn,
Can't you just make a photocopy and stick the original in a safe place?

The old fashioned way: in a binder with each page in a plastic sleeve.

I like both ideas. I actually use a binder with top loading sheet protectors, but for a different purpose. Every thing I buy that comes with instructions goes into a sheet protector. Some are huge and some are slightly bigger than a postage stamp - in six languages. It's that, or toss them all into a box.

@jespah,
I think that's the easiest way, thanks! I'll do that.

@roger,
Me too!
I think I'll use the binder for the original and also make a photocopy.
