Back in the 1960 there was a popular Christmas song that I have not heard in a long time and I cannot think of the title although I seem to remember all of the words except the first two lines. It goes like this -
Da da da-da da, da da da-da da
da da da da da da da- da da
When she puts her head on my shoulder,
Like a fire, I smolder.
Let the ski outside, skate outside,
I have no doubt that it's great outside,
But for me the best part of winter is when I can hide,
Cosy and warm with my love by the fireside.
Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me the title or anything else about it?
I couldn't find much from the 1960s with shoulder and smoulder/smolder - let alone with Christmas theme. Hoping you've got a couple of memories merging and this is what you are talking about.
