I decided to apply to Pitzer College in California which is a test-optional school. However, I sent in my SAT score yesterday (December 31st). I'm not exactly sure when Pitzer needs test scores by but I believe it is January first. I did rush shipping on my scores but I'm not sure if they will get there by the first. I have not sent in my application yet but would it be better to say I am sending the SAT scores and to have them possibly be turned in late or to say I will not be sending in any scores? Also, if I do say on the common app that i will be submitting scores yet they don't arrive on time, how will that affect me considering it is test-optional?
@bluejay1,
Tell them the test results are on their way and approximately when to expect them.
