I was thinking about the US SS programme, and how inflation indexing benefits instead of wage indexing them would eliminate the deficit. So I thought, what if the SS cap was wage indexed, how would the prospects of SS look then?

Intuitively I'd guess it would still run a deficit as the ratio of workers to beneficiaries will decline in future years, but I don't have the numbers.
