I heard this song at a meeting of Maranatha Campus Ministries in the late 1970s or early 1980s in Gainesville, Florida. I think the next words were "overcoming all that He might reign". I think the late Bill Britten wrote it and it is just called "I see your glory shining"

I recall the last phrase as "overcoming all that they might reign." I belive I first heard it at Word of Faith Temple (Charles Green, pastor) in the late 70's.

There's another verse, or perhaps a parallel rewrite, exact same tune, that goes as follows:

I heard a thousand trumpets, sounding out His glory
Telling the story of how He came to earth to die.
I heard a million voices, praise the name of Jesus
Singing in that choir in the sky
