Thanks for the get well :-D

You're still painting that ceiling Shocked Laughing

Teehee! Actually I appear to be mostly flinging paint all over myself, the walls, & the carpet, only occassionally getting paint on the ceiling....

Found a bit of paint on the dog the other day, too.

I hope to NEVER EVER paint a ceiling again!

I'm painting as well, but people say I'm pretty good at it. Well, at least that's what they say to my face Laughing

Good luck with that ;-)

I love that park! It was once a tourist attraction, and they made lots of little waterfalls from the springs, plus little hills and twisting walks through the trees. There are still lots of (empty) animal cages along a meandering path, strangely peaceful now that the critters are gone. You can even rent a kayak and paddle about the springs and river.

I'm not good at painting, or fixing things, or practically anything that involves physical coordination (except for dancing, that is).

I so envy Montana! She can do anything!

That does sound like a beautiful park :-D

You're giving me way too much credit on the "can do anything", but that's very sweet of you to say. Thank you :-D

I've seen some of the things you've made and you're very talented. I bet you're a great damcer as well ;-)

Put me down on the list of Vicks lovers, Montana. That and Hall's Honey Lemon cough drops are what get me through colds & assorted respiratory stuff. Oh, and my blessed vaporizer, too. Could'nt live without it.

We had a great weekend here. The boys went on a Boy Scout campout to a ranch where they raise longhorn cattle. My son had his first real experience with cow pies. (Glad I wasn't there!) Meanwhile, I took a house tour of new $1+ million dollar homes...the ticket price was a donation to the Alzheimer's Assn., so I could indulge my taste for luxury while telling myself I was doing something noble...and then stopped by the craft store for more beads.

I got a call from someone looking for auction items for the annual Heart Assn. fundraiser coming up soon. My son and I made some gorgeous (if I do say so myself) beaded crosses at Christmastime, and she had seen one. She wants us to make a special one for the Heart Assn. as a donation. She figures it will bring at least $100 in their auction. We were very, very honored to be asked.

(It will cost us about $25 in supplies.)

Well, I'll be darned, another Vicks lover :-D I like the Hall's too, but I don't have any and am too lazy to go to the store.

Sounds like you guys had an exciting weekend. I envy you and suddenly feel very helpless :-(

Don't mind me, I'm just a cry baby when I'm sick, lol.

The best thing: I learned a valuable lesson about life.
You cannot make a gazillion passes through the buffet line
and then agree to go out for a run with your sixteen-year-old son.
Well, you can, but...

The worst thing: I learned a valuable lesson about life.
