Term for related words

Can anyone tell me the correct term for groups of related words? For example, supermarket, groceries, food and shopping. Or gardening, seeds, plants and lawnmower. For a project on artificial intelligence.

Thank you in advance!

@Battlefrog,
Hmm good question (and there might not be a true answer). It's definitely not a word family.

@jespah,
I think we will have to settle for saying 'words with a connection'.

Thank you for replying.

Commonym https://rlv.zcache.com/patent_pending_sticker-r62bc0fb58e3b48089016368c2f571c8a_v9wth_8byvr_540.jpg

The collective noun would doubtless be a commonplace or community of commonyms.

@Battlefrog,
I like the phrase "related words". It perfectly describes words that are related.

@laughoutlood,
Thank you, have added 'commonym' to my vocabulary. Will try and drop it into conversation as well!
