Sounds like something in a movie - you press this button and viola the criminal is wrapped up in seconds without anyone being touched or harmed in any way!

Small, and compact, the BolaWrap is a lightweight, wearable device designed to immobilize a suspect. It works similar to something you might find in Batman’s utility belt when he wraps up a bad guy. An officer must stand at least 10-feet from the target, to deploy the Bola. It uses a cartridge to fire a Kevlar string with four small fishing hooks attached to a post on the end. The string wraps around a suspect, with the hooks catching in their clothing, restraining their mobility.

This is cool - I need to buy one of these.

@Linkat,
Sounds interesting.

Of course I can already see the lawsuits against the harm it'll possibility inflict. The suspected alleged criminal is knocked off their feet and sustains an injury.

In a positive note, it seems safer than rubber or live bullets and better than those tazer things.

It can also be used to keep the husband or wife from heading out to a poker game or some other activity.
