I'm enjoying the game anyway. Just a pity we couldn't get more players on-board.
Crossed my mind to start a new one from New Years day for the 2nd half of the season but then i fear we might end up with less players.

In the Head to Head with one game left to go, Southampton Vs West Ham, it looks as though the Unforgiven have beaten Wee Lads and it was a stroll in the park for the Klopp against the Local Boys who would need a miracle to win.
Most interesting match left is the Riders Vs the Hamster. The Hamster has a 9pt lead on the Riders with the Southampton goalie to play, while the Riders need W/Ham midfielder Anderson & goalie Fabianski to shine to have any hope of winning.

I am again confused.

I see that the Hamster has 36 points posted and a defender, Mendy, who did
not play. There is only one defender on the bench, Robertson, who has 6
points. That would bring the Hamster to 42, no?

Riders have 48.

What am I missing?

Not quite, in order yes But.... there must always be at least 3 defenders on the pitch.
So it might say skip a midfielder sub to ensure there's 3 defenders playing.

And shine they did! Anderson potted two and looked for a while like he
would get the hat trick. Fabianski conceded only one while saving four.
