Are teachers allowed to throw my food?

So today I went to 7/11 and bought a drink after buying the drink. I went back to school to wait for the school bus since the bus is always 40 mins late while waiting for the bus I put the drink in my bag since it wasn’t allowed in the room no one saw it in my bag . My sister came to pick me up so while leaving the building I took out the drink out of my bag because I didn’t want it spill on my book while taking it out the dean of student saw me and took my drink away and threw it away and said these drinks are not allowed in the building and it was after school we weren’t in no class or anything

All schools have rules but those rules can differ school to school or even just a change of principal can lead to rule changes. Normally, some of those rules will apply inside or outside on the school grounds. As Sturgis suggests, you can contact the administration. I'm not sure what a "dean of students" means. Is he/she a student or a senior teacher?

But in any case, my opinion is that the person behaved inappropriately in taking your drink and throwing it away. There's no harm that will come from a beverage out of doors. If you're mad, I don't blame you.

You had a forbidden drink in the building and hid it.

You took it out of the bag because you failed to secure it properly.

A school official saw it and took it from you.

The official threw it away.

Consequences .... prepare to accept them.
