Why is it....

when you pour a little bit of liquid, like coffee or tea down the drain and some of it splashes up onto the side of the sink.....

you can never rinse off every drop by pouring a full glass of water after it, and letting it splash all over?

Why is it....

You watch videos on how to do a messy bun, and keep hearing how it takes 10 seconds, is so easy and will look like this.....

Why is it that every single time I unfold a smock at my hairdresser's, I take it out upside down? Every damned time.

Why is it when you pull off a plastic bag in the produce section at the store, you always try to open the wrong end?

Why is it that underwear (men's and women's) mysteriously goes inside out during the drying process? I swear it wasn't that way before.
