This isn't Facebook tech support or in any fashion or manner associated with Facebook in any official standing.

I understand that,...but was hoping that others may have had a similar situation, and could provide an answer, or solution. FB support of course is of no help, and I can find nothing online that provides solutions,...but am aware of others who this has happened to. So was trying the proverbial "shot in the dark" here!

Try Changing your password Several Times And keep checking Again and again you will definately find out some trick to get rid off.
