Just got back from seeing "Hitch". My wife and I both enjoyed it and had lots of good laughs.
I don't know much about Kevin James, other than he's in "King of Queens", but thought he did well in it. I think that Will Smith was up to his usual standards and gave a good performance.
Did you notice the resemblance of Amber Valletta (who played Allegra Cole) to Cameron Diaz? Quite uncanny!
So Craven's "sleepin" review prompted you to go see it?
The redeeming quality of the movie was Kevin James dancing scene and Ellis island. Oh - and the allergic reaction. Those were good times. The other parts of the movie faded into the background, IMHO.
