Hi.

Let me show you a couple of sentences which I think might
needs some correction.

1. That's why we can call every incident as an 'event'.

Well, native speakers seem to use the pattern 'call A B', not 'call A as B'.
And the word 'every' goes well with plural nouns, l believe.
Therefore, it needs to be rewritten, like,

A. That's why we can call every incident 'events'.

2. We all are aware of that we are short on time.

The word 'of' is followed by 'nouns', not 'subjects and verbs', in other words, 'clauses'.
So I suppose this need to be written,

B. We are aware of the fact that we are short on time.

Or We are aware that we are short on time.

Could you let me know if I made the sentences better?
Are these rewritten sentences still awkward?

I've got no one to turn to but here
when I have questions about English.
I'd appreciate your comment.
Thank you.

@SMickey,
For 1A, I would say -That's why we can call every incident an 'event'.
Your other two sentences are correct and not awkward.

@Ponderer,
Thank you. Now I got it.
I'm relieved to hear that there are some natural sentences.
